LLDPE is amazingly resilient to the vast majority of chemical attacks and used in numerous applications. Generally manufactured in a natural colour to prevent pigment leaching in some cases these tanks are fit for purpose. Temperature range is up to 40 degrees but we have used higher than this in some applications with success. .
Tanks are manufactured from s.g 1.2 to < s.g 1.8. S.G is the specific weight a product occupies in the same space I.e a 1000lt water tank will hold one ton of “water weight” whereby a product of 1.4s.g will weigh 1,4 tonnes in the same space.
